Nutrition and Vitamins for Wound Healing
Nutrients and vitamins required to support wound healing and immune system when healing is slow.
Nutrition is important for wound healing in those that have medical conditions e.g. diabetes, kidney disease, poor blood flow, cancers, malabsorption, major surgery that lower the immune system.
Age, poor nutrition even in the obese person, lower income, gut dysfunction, smoking, stress, poor food choices, lack of food all eventually can impact health.
Vitamins for wound healing such as Zinc ( read more), Vitamin , C, D, E and protein are very important to consider if the wound is slow healing, as is treating the underlying cause. Vitamins for immunity for seniors is beneficial if they have poor eating habits.

VITAMIN C Wound healing
1250mg per dose from sodium ascorbate a great alternative to injectable vitamin C or intravenous vitamin C.* Only about 19% of traditional vitamin C is properly absorbed in the body, with the remainder staying in the gastrointestinal tract to attract water and loosen the bowels, potentially causing stomach upset and discomfort. NANONUTRA'S Liposomalized Vitamin C is absorbed much more efficiently than traditional delivery methods, a huge advance in both efficiency & effectiveness of supplemental nutrients! *
